Dr. James A. Williams, Jr. O.D.Optometrist
Our founding member Dr. Williams was raised in Fries, Virginia and served a four year term in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Biology from Auburn University. He also graduated Cum Laude as a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama and received Best Primary Care Skills award. Dr. Williams is now retired and enjoying golf and spending time with his wife, children and grandchild.
Dr. Katherine Henning, O.D.Optometrist
Dr. Henning grew up in Northeast Pennsylvania. She attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan for her undergraduate work and obtained an Associates' Degree in Optometric Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Biology - graduating with highest honors with both degrees. She then attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and graduated Beta Sigma Kappa. She went on to complete a residency in Contact Lens and Corneal Disease at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and continued at UAB as an Assistant Professor and Manager of the Contact Lens and Corneal Disease Department. Dr. Henning practiced in Sparta, NC for several years and has been with Blue Ridge Eye Care Associates for more than a decade. Dr. Henning enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, time outdoors, hunting four-leaf clovers, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. J. Nathan Williams, O.D.Optometrist
Dr. J. Nathan Williams grew up in Galax, Virginia. He attended Wytheville Community College obtaining an associates degree in Science and then went on to finish his undergraduate work at Radford University receiving Bachelor's Degree with a pre medical concentration and honors. He then attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia earning his Doctorate of Optometry. During his time at PCO he rotated through several sites such as the Wills Eye Hospital and the Jefferson Concussion Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Nathan enjoys playing guitar, a variety of outdoor sports/activities and spending time with family.
Dr. Lindi M. Williams, O.D.Optometrist
Dr. Lindi Williams is originally from Henderson, Nevada but moved to Galax, Virginia in high school. She went on to complete her undergraduate studies at Radford University where she graduated Magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Pre-Health concentration. She then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry. While at PCO she found that she had an interest in pediatrics and vision therapy which led her to choose a clinical rotation in the pediatrics and binocular vision/vision therapy clinic at The Eye Institute at Salus University. Dr. Lindi enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
